Services, Costs, and Restrictions

Costs

INDIVIDUAL PROJECTS:  $30.00 per hour (2½-hour minimum).  All services will be documented with exactly what was done and how long it took to perform that particular aspect of the job.  This journal will appear with your invoice.

Hourly rate includes recording, set-up and tear-down (if applicable), post-production, creative, writing, and distribution.  Travel to/from a remote site will also be charged at the hourly rate, except for consultation meetings.

Generally, no charges will be given for consultation time, unless consultation is the main service that is being offered.  Travel time will not be charged to/from consultations, but reimbursement for travel expenses will be requested if the consultation location is 60 minutes and/or 45 miles away from Monaca, PA (in the Pittsburgh region, in Beaver County).  (Hourly rates may apply if travel is required for certain recording or production aspects of the project.)

ONGOING PROJECTS:  I'm willing to negotiate costs for long-term projects.

NON-PROFIT GROUPS:  I'm willing to discuss discounted rates with certain non-profit organizations.

Restrictions

These rules and limitations will apply to all work that I will accept.

• The production must be kept to at least a "PG" rating.  I will not do work that uses profanity, promotes immoral lifestyles (by a Christian standard), or is disgustingly hateful.  I also will not produce materials that promote alcohol or adult-themed materials.
• The production must not totally abandon copyright laws.  (Sorry--I'm not paying fines or going to jail for you.)  I do have access to royalty-free music and sound effects.  If you insist on using copyrighted materials, I can help you use them legally, or get you the means to using them legally.
• If you need to work with me in person or use my equipment: you are welcome to come to my studio.  If you need me to come to you:  please be within a one-hour drive (about 45 miles) from Monaca, PA--or, be willing to cover my travel expenses.  (I don't need much--just cheap gas, fast food, and clean lodging.)  
• Casting Companies and AFTRA Signatories:  Please contact me about rates.  I am a member of AFTRA, and will work under AFTRA contracts.
